Making Large Safety Signs

Making Large Safety Signs

DuraLabel printers and labeling supplies get the job done and get it done right — even when you need really BIG signs.  With a DuraLabel custom label printer there is no limit on the size of the sign.

The photo to the left shows a 16″ x 24″ caution sign being made by a DuraLabel PRO printer.  The DuraLabel PRO is printing four 4″ sections (three labels).  Two make the yellow CAUTION header.  The other two make the white body of the the caution sign.  The three sections are combined together, one above the other, to create a large safety sign.  They may be combined using a sign blank, or applied directly to a wall or any other flat surface.

This can also be done with the larger DuraLabel sign printers, such as the DuraLabel 9000.  Use a DuraLabel 9000 to print three nine inch sections that are 36 inches long.  Combined together they make a 27″ x 36″ safety sign.

What if lettering that is 15″ high is needed? Can a DuraLabel printer make that?

Yes.  Fifteen inch lettering can be made by combining three 4″ sections from a DuraLabel PRO or two 8″ (or 9″) sections from a DuraLabel 9000.  DuraLabel printers can print text and symbols that are spread across several sections of vinyl.  The sections are then combined, on a sign blank for example, to make the complete sign.  This is called tiling.  It is like combining pieces of ceramic tile to create a large picture.  DuraLabel printers can do this same thing.

Whatever size sign or label you need, a DuraLabel printer can get the job done.  DuraLabel is the leading brand of label printers when it comes to quality, versatility, advanced technology, economy and ease-of-use.  Call 1-888-326-9244 today and ask about special DuraLabel sign making kits.  You’ll be glad you did.
