Labeling Oil Coated Surfaces

Posted in DuraLabel Pro Supplies, DuraLabel Supplies, HazCom Labeling, Labeling Applications, Labeling Supplies at 11:10 pm by duralabel

DuraLabel has a unique supply that allows labels and signs to be permanently applied to an oil or grease coated surface.  Typically surfaces must be oil-free in order for a label to stick.  And in most cases it is desirable that surfaces be oil free.  But there are some cases in which a surface has a coating of oil for protection, or it may be in a location in which it can not be cleaned.  That’s where this unique label and sign material is invaluable.

This video shows the DuraLabel oily surface labels in action… staying stuck on a surface coated with WD-40.  It’s something you are not going to see anywhere else.

OSHA Safety Sign Making Poster

Posted in Free Offers (Industrial), Industrial Safety at 9:45 pm by duralabel

Last week I announced the availability of a new safety sign poster.  It is a limited edition safety poster made to look like an early 1970’s concert poster.  This new poster has become one of the hottest free offers ever made available by DuraLabel.  While there are still plenty of copies left (only 2,500 copies will be printed), they are quickly flying out the door.

This new poster normally sells for $19.95, but for a limited time it is available free.  It covers OSHA design requirements for safety signs and labels, and in particular header design and signal word requirements.

The design of the poster makes it particularly eye-catching, and making reading the safety information on the poster fun and interesting.

This poster is only available free to those who use signs and labels in their job.  It cannot be sent to home addresses.  DuraLabel free gifts are normally only available to businesses, schools, the military and government agencies with 20 or more employees.

An online form is available for requesting a free copy of this new safety poster.  Free copies are available for a limited time and the above link may stop working at any time.

A Unique Safety Poster

Posted in Industrial Labeling Accessories, Industrial Safety tagged , , at 6:31 am by duralabel

A new safety poster has several aspects that make it very unique.

To start with it has an attention grabbing design.  Makde to look likean early 1970’s concert poster, when people see it they do a double-take and take a closer look.  And that’s good.  The concert style design makes this a fun and attractive safety poster.

Not only is the poster visually interesting, it presents important information about OSHA requirements for the use of signal words in headers of labels and signs.  It features information about the headers of the six most commonly used labels, as well as providing general ANSI Z535 information that is applicable to all types of safety labels and signs.

Another thing interesting about this poster is that it is a limited edition poster.  Only 2,500 copies will be made.  That’s unusual for a safety poster.  Usually they are printed in unlimited quantities.  But the unique design of this poster, combined with the limited printing, make this safety poster a collector’s item.

The cost of the poster is $19.95.  But for a limited time Graphic Products is giving away copies free to qualified people.  Anyone who uses safety signs or labels in their work would probably be considered as qualified to receive a free poster.  Filling out the poster request form only takes a few moments, so it’s worth asking for your own copy while they are free.
