More New DuraLabel Supplies

If there is a labeling problem, we’re out to find a solution. Two new types of supplies from DuraLabel solve unique problems.

When you print labels have you ever noticed small areas, like dots, that did not get printed? One possible cause is static electricity. Small static arcs, too small to be noticed with human senses, can cause the ink to bubble and leave spots in the printing. In most cases these imperfections are not harmful and may not even be noticed.  But if it is important these spots can be eliminated.

Electrostatic dissipative tapes prevent static discharges and eliminate print quality problems related to static discharge.  Static can build up on tapes as they move through the printer during the printing process.  Electrostatic dissipative tapes eliminate this buildup.

Electrostatic Dissipative tapes are part the full range of labeling supplies provided by DuraLabel supplies.

Another new supply are fluorescent tapes.  These are vinyl tapes in bright, bold fluorescent colors.  When you need eye catching, attention grabbing labels and signs, this is the material to use.  Fluorescent tapes are designed for short-term outdoor use.  They are typically used to provide information under special circumstances.

Owning a DuraLabel PRO printer has always meant you are saving money.  That’s because you are purchasing your supplies direct from the manufacturer, giving you savings of 30-50% on all your labeling and sign making needs.

Does saving money mean you are cutting corners?  Not with DuraLabel supplies.  You get only the best, top quality labeling and sign making supplies.  But more than that you get supplies backed by extensive R&D and testing.  That not only means quality supplies, it means we are continually working to develop new supplies to meet a wider range of needs.  Here are two examples:

Problem: A pipe with a rough surface needs to be labeled.  May the pipe has rusted a little and has small pits on the surface.  In the past labels applied to this pipe have not stayed stuck.

The new Hi-Tack tapes from DuraLabel PRO supplies are designed for just this type of problem.  They have a super “guey” adhesive that works on rough surfaces.  It even works on fabric surfaces!

Problem: What about oily or greasy surfaces that are in a location in which it is not practical to clean them thoroughly?  Oil has got to be the #1 substance that would prevent a label from adhering.

That’s not true with DuraLabel supplies.  The new oily surface DuraLabel tapes can be applied directly to oily or greasy surfaces.  These tapes have an adhesive designed to work on surfaces that are coated with oil or grease.  Of course, you should wipe off excess grease or oil.  But, these tapes have been tested by spraying a surface with WD40 and then applying the label.  They labels stuck and stayed stuck.

When it comes to labeling and siogns, yuo want to be dealing with people who know their business.  Thay’s why DuraLabel supplies are only sold direct from the manufacturer… direct from the experienced labeling experts.

New DuraLabel PRO 300 Printer

The DuraLabel PRO 300 label and sign printer is now shipping.

It is called the “300″ because this is a high resolution, 300 dpi printer. That usually signals a problem. High resolution printers tend to be slow and noisy. In the past there was been a trade-off between having 300 dpi printing and good productivity. With the DuraLabel PRO 300 that has all changed.

What’s different about the printer is that it includes a high speed processor and greater memory. Print jobs are processed faster, off-setting the slower printing speed. You get the best of both worlds! high resolution printing and high speed printing. Because of the high speed processor you labels start coming out of the printer sooner.

The DuraLabel PRO 300 uses the same supplies as all other DuraLabel printers. That means you’ll have the correct supplies to get the job done right the first time. And with DuraLabel supplies you are always getting the right supplies based on more than 38 years of experience and extensive R&D and testing. That’s why it’s called the DuraLabel “PRO” 300… because are getting the printer and supplies from the experienced PROs!

Next time I’ll talk more about the new supplies that have been added to the already extensive line of DuraLabel PRO supplies.
